The Ford Escape is a compact crossover vehicle sold by Ford since 2000 over four generations. Ford released the original model in 2000 for the 2001 model year. It was jointly developed and released with Mazda of Japan, who took a lead in the engineering of the two models and sold their version as the Mazda Tribute.

Escape car has poor seams and finishes, windows seals have visible gaps, the plastic pillar trim is loose, and has a high gas consumption, according to Chris at edmunds.com

"Really bad in gas consumption, loud interior engine sound. After driving for a week, I noticed the poor seams and finishes. The window seals and seams have visible gaps. The plastic pillar trim is very loose and doesn't even meet the window rubber trim. Doors take a lot of force to shut fully."

Adam says

"After the initial 5 month subscription ran out, I noticed a pending charge for another 5 month subscription. I tried to hunt down any sort of way to cancel with this company. I was unable to find any published method so I reached out to their chat line on Jan 6 and Jan 9. The Jan 6 was responded to on the 16th. The 9th was responded to on the 20th. In the meantime, I filed a dispute with my credit card company. The company responded to my credit card claiming I never contacted them to cancel my subscription. If you must get involved with this service, make sure to document the cancellation information and put a note on your calendar. Their business model appears to require them to make it difficult to cancel. They should spend more money increasing customer service which they could get by saving money from the people that are tasked with spending hours writing deceptive responses to credit card disputes."

"I have waited 2 days and still no response from the company to resolve the account / subscription problems I encountered with my initial enrollment. They’ve taken my money, but I have no subscription. I am now concerned this company is a scam."

"I have completed two boxes. I find them tedious and some things are just arbitrary. Overall I am very disappointed. I love escape rooms, but this doesn't even come close. It's hard to tell when you are making progress. There are things you just guess at. There is swag in each box, but some is not really related to the case and I would rather they spent the money on a better experience. At this point I don't think I would sign up for Season 2 or any of their other games. Just very disappointing."

Jamey Church says

"Unfortunately waited to open the first box until we already had 3 of them on the table and now have 4. The remaining 3 may never be opened. I don't get the high reviews. You get a letter, a few (cool and high quality!) trinkets, and some card that you supposedly can use to access a website. I don't get how they can even call this a game. There was no game or mystery or story to the box. Just a letter about someone who went missing with no real clues or instructions on what you are even supposed to do. I'm glad others liked it but I will never buy one of these kind of boxes again. Was really looking forward to something interesting to do with my wife."
